HEAT BOX TO ACCELERATE HEALING
Heat increases circulation. It is a vasodilator that expands the blood vessels, speeding up healing processes. The soothing warmth relieves stiff joints and muscles, increases mobility and further, reduces pain, cramping, and aching muscles.

COLD BOX TO DECREASE INFLAMMATION
Cold reduces blood flow, known as vasoconstriction. It slows down molecules in tissues and constricts blood vessels, slowing nerve activity. This results in less (chronic) hand pain and a significant reduction in swelling and inflammation.

UV-C light to clean your box & prevent infection
UV-C light is an effective measure against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses and fungi. Each OSO box has a UV-C function to disinfect your box and its filling material after exercise to prevent infection - especially if you or your therapist are sharing the box with others.
Both thermotherapy and cryotherapy are widely used treatments to reduce pain, oedema and muscle spasm.
